Oh man when I think about that sweet Georgia Peach fuzz it gets me ready to make this summer classic.
You'll need
- 6 ea Sweet Georgia Peaches, pitted and chopped
- 2 ea eggs
- 1 cup CannaCream
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 T Vanilla
- 1 Qt Milk
- 1 pt 1/2 & 1/2
- 1 ea Lemon, zest and juiced
- 1 cup sugar
Let’s get cooking!
STEP 1
In one pan sautee the peaches in 2 Tablespoons of medicated butter on medium heat. After 2-3 minutes add the 1 cup of brown sugar and cook until dissolved and then add CannaCream bring to a boil set aside. In the other pot bring the 1/2 & 1/2 and milk to a simmer and shut off.
STEP 2
Now grab a fresh bowl with your egg yolks in it, gradually sprinkle in the cup of white sugar and whisk until thick and pale. This should take about 3-5 minutes.
STEP 3
Now this is where it gets fun. Ladle the warm dairy mixture into the yolk/sugar mixture and be sure to stir constantly. Once you have poured the entire dairy mix into the yolks strain it and add your peach mixture.
STEP 4
add this mixture to your ice cream machine and follow the directions. about 30 minutes and 3 hours in a deep freeze is good.
