I’m Going to Get You Suckers

These are a simple addition to the Candy Shop. Spend the money on a great candy thermometer and some candy molds.

You'll need

  • 1 Cup sugar
  • ½ Cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ Cup apple cider
  • ½ tsp fruit extract
  • ½ tsp food coloring optional
  • non-stick spray

Let’s get cooking!

STEP 1

spray molds with non-stick spray.

STEP 2

Combine the sugar, corn syrup and water in a pot until it boils.

STEP 3

If the mixture starts to climb up the sides of the pot, just push it back down with a wet pastry brush.

STEP 4

Once your candy mixture reaches a boil, stick a candy thermometer in the pot until it reaches 295 degrees.

STEP 5

Remove the pot from the heat and wait for it to stop bubbling before you add your flavorings -
